I actually just heard about the new book yesterday, when I made this post. I just happened to be searching h2g2 information and kind of stumbled upon the announcement. I think what I might do is read Artemis Fowl just to get an idea of how the new novel might feel. I also stumbled across a list of other authors to check out if you happen to like DNA's writings. Pop over to the douglas adams continuum (www.douglasadams.se), which is a very friendly forum, but where many fans are deeply sceptical about the new book.
